Residents of Group Homes have unique medication needs, and require special attention. Our Consultant Pharmacists are uniquely qualified to review their medications, and make recommendations that promote safe, effective medication use. Through proper monitoring and follow-up, medication efficacy is improved, and medication side effects are addressed and minimized.
Each Group Home receives on-site visits from the Pharmacist on a monthly or quarterly basis, as determined by the Program coordinators and the needs of the resident. All issues identified are reviewed with the appropriate program staff and forwarded to the program medical team for evaluation and implementation, where appropriate.
